Founded in 1971, Simplex Industries is a highly experienced builder with numerous national building and design awards, including awards for Green construction.
While experience may belong to a corporation, expertise lies within its personnel.
Simplex is proud of the expertise our key personnel bring to the Multi-Family Division. In addition to the knowledge they bring to their current positions, most began their careers in the modular industry on the shop floor.
Patrick Fricchione, Jr. - President.
With 26 years industry expertise, Pat Fricchione serves as President of Simplex Industries. Pat learned the modular business from the ground floor and has worked in most all aspects of sales and management within the business before becoming President of the company founded by his father and uncles. Pat is a hands-on manager and is active in all phases of the company's day to day operations. He also in charge of long-range planning and overseeing Simplex divisions such as Modern Architectural Modular, Classic Carolina Homes, Simplex Solar and Cornerstone Building Solutions. Pat has also served as President of the Building Systems Council which is a division of the National Association of Home Builders. He has also served as the President of the Modular Building Systems Association.
David Boniello - Vice President Marketing and Development.
Dave Boniello brings 27 years of experience in the modular industry to his position at Simplex where he is active in multiple phases of the company's operations - from planning, sales, marketing and development to being involved in plant operations, vendor and customer contact and more. Dave is another Simplex executive who rose in the modular industry from an entry level construction position to his current post. He is also a past Multi-Family Sales Manager. Dave Boniello has played a key role in all large scale projects Simplex has built over the past two decades including The Cottages at The Hershey Hotel (customer: Hershey Corporation), Stewart Terrace Military Housing (customer: ACTUS Lend Lease), Two Trees Inn (customer: Foxwood Casino Ledyard, CT), The Residence Inn West Orange, N.J. (customer: Private developer) and many more.
Paul Caruso - Vice President of Operations.
With over 42 years of construction expertise, Paul's duties including overseeing the Service responsibilities of Simplex Industries. Paul is a hands-on supervisor and has worked closely with many repeat Simplex customers during his long career. Paul also oversees the operation of the two Simplex production facilities and works directly with builders and project managers to trouble shoot construction and service related issues.
George Butcher - Multi-Family Sales Manager.
With over 40 years of industry expertise, few if any other industry executives can match George Butcher for hands-on experience. George began his career working on the shop floor in the industry, rose to become plant manager, engineering manager and now serves as Multi-Family Sales Manager. George brings knowledge of all phases of construction to his customers as well as the background as having served as the key contact between the manufacturer and purchaser. George has a hands-on approach to problem solving and is well respected by his peers in the industry. He has also worked with many architects assisting in the design or the conversion of building plans into modular units.
Mark Hoffa - Director of Construction Services.
Mark Hoffa has 31 years of construction expertise, the last 20 in the modular industry. As an experienced manager, Mark has supervised the setting of literally thousands of modular boxes on projects within the Simplex marketing area. Some of his more high profile projects include the setting of 546 units at the Meadows at Mitchell Field (Long Island, NY), SUNY Binghamton Dormitories (Binghamton, NY), ACTUS Lend Lease (Stewart Terrace, NY a privatized military housing project that consisted of over 171 units), The Cottages At The Hershey Hotel (Hershey, PA), Marywood University Dormitories (Scranton, PA), The Residence Inn (West Orange, NJ) and many more. Mark Hoffa also has extensive experience solving on-site issues as well as dealing with sub-contractors.
Mark Russell - Multi-Family Sales.
Mark has 19 years of construction experience and works with George Butcher to coordinate sales and service on behalf of numerous customers. Mark was promoted to his current position after having served as a Simplex production manager. His understanding of exactly how structures are built and set gives him valuable experience to share with his customers. Mark has been a part of numerous large scale projects in his Simplex career both in manufacturing and sales.
Bill Giordano - Project Supervisor.
Bill has over 20 years of experience spread across electrical, carpentry and setting of modular boxes. For approximately the past 5 years, Bill Giordano has worked under Mark Hoffa helping to oversee the setting of large scale multi-family projects including The Cottages at The Hershey Hotel (Hershey, PA) , ACTUS Lend Lease (Stewart Terrace, NY) and many more. Bill also serves to supervise and assist with onsite completion of Simplex units.
Bill Feduchak - Director of Purchasing.
Bill Feduchak brings over 26 years of purchasing experience for the construction industry to his position at Simplex Industries. In his position, Bill is in charge of negotiating and coordinating with a long list of Simplex vendors. As a company Simplex is proud of the high quality materials that go into each structure. Bill Feduchak uses the buying power of Simplex to manage the cost of all goods and services purchased by Simplex on behalf of our customers.
David Nice - Engineering Manager.
Dave brings 21 years of expertise to his position at Simplex Industries where he leads a team of talented engineers. Dave Nice has played a key role in all large scale multi-family projects at Simplex for the past ten years. His experience is spread across both wood and steel structures. Dave holds a Residential Building Inspector License, which gives him the experience to design around potential problems and challenges. Dave was actively involved in projects such as Marywood University Dormitories (Scranton, PA), The Cottages At The Hershey Hotel (Hershey, PA), The Residence Inn (West Orange, NJ), ACTUS Lend Lease (Stewart Terrace) and The Merian Housing Project (Middletown, CT).
Chris Confer - Lead Engineer.
Chris Confer is a senior member of our engineering staff. With over 22 years of expertise across wood and steel construction, Chris has seen it all. Chris has worked on many high profile multifamily projects during his tenure at Simplex, including, The Dormitories at Marywood University (Scranton, PA), The Cottages At The Hershey Hotel (Hershey, PA), ACTUS Lend Lease (Stewart Terrace, NY) and more.
